Europe: Day 6 - Paris
Reached Amy's place (Feisal's friend) around past 4 in the morning after getting lost for hours. It was 3.5 degrees outside. Had some sleep before finally going out around 2pm. Went to Basilles, Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville, Arc de Triomphe, and finally Eiffel Tower. It rained.. sigh. Many thanks to Fahmi for being our tour guide and to Amy for letting us tumpang her place. =)

Europe: Day 4 - Aachen, Germany
It was 1 degrees celcius when we started our journey to Aachen. We had Am who's studying there to act as our tourguide. It was all good until it started to drizzle. C-c-cold, but still not too bad! (haha, macam takmo ngaku kalah!) They had the normal stuff, church, town hall, christmas markets, yada yada yada. We missed going to Labyrinth (this really giant maze) cause it was getting darker and you wouldnt wanna get stuck in there at night! Owh, not forgetting this three-country pointer thingie, where if you took one step you'll be in uh, not too sure which two countries. Will check map later..

Europe: Day 3 - Koln, Germany
We had to take an hour's journey by train in order to get to Koln. They have the tallest church in Europe here (as if it makes any difference to me kan?). It was only 5 degrees outside, bearable for me. They had Christmas market, something like our Pasar Ramadhan I guess.. We had dinner at Doy Doy in Hansaring, a Turkish restaurant. Best!

Europe: Day 1 - Liverpool
Sight-seeing in Liverpool with Hana as tour guide. Went to the Cavern Pub, I think that's where The Beatles started. Walked to Albert Dock, and went into this Museum because it was free!! Haha.. Those in Liverpool speak in an accent such that it sounds like some foreign language! Well, to me anyway lah kan..

Europe: Day 0 - KL to Manchester
Embarking on a one month journey to Europe. Why? Sengaja lah.. nak visit friends and relatives. You wont really have this opportunity coming your way often, plus I'll be working soon (yikes!) Made an appointment with Maiya so we could check in together. It was a long 13 hours flight, and they only served two meals! Imagine the noise that my tummy made towrads the end! Unlike the flight to Australia, we couldnt see much as there was this endless blanket of clouds. Manchester airport is small and cosy. Hana came to pick me up and we went straight to her place in Liverpool

Ramadhan and Syawal in Sydney
These are the pictures I took during my final Ramadhan and Syawal celebrated in Sydney. It was heaps of fun.
We had the weekly big feast as usual at Malaysia Hall. Raya was celebrated on the 14th November, I didnt mind much because its a Sunday so obviously will have no exams! I spent the night at dewan and helped them to prepare the place for raya the next day. The highlight of it all was playing sparklers outside at 3 am in the morning, while singing on top of our lungs! Some of us had only few hours of sleep before we had to get ready and help with the food, etc on raya itself. Afiqon didnt sleep for more than three hours straight, resulting in him being a wee bit cuckoo!
I think they have so much more open houses here compared to what I'm used to in Malaysia. No complains here, sebab ada endless food supply! The only thing I'm concerned about is if I can actually fit them all in my tummy, hehe! I will seriously miss this.. To my dear friends, selamat hari raya, maaf zahir batin. Had such great fun with all of you, all year round!
