Had breakfast by the beach, played beach soccer for awhile, mandi laut and got ready to check out by noon. Delightful.

Bali - Day 5
|
|
woke up before 6 - to pantai legian in hope not many people around - dipukul oleh ombak for an hour or so - back to hotel - swam in the pool with t shirt and trousers (had the mat salleh looking at us like crazy uncivilised people haha!) - breakfast - free and easy around kuta i.e. haggling for more souvenirs - looked around for cheapo/affordable spa - checked out - spa (massage and mandi lulur) - lunch makanan padang - to hotel to take our stuff - singgah di kuta (to hard rock cafe and took pictures at both bali bombing site) - to airport very early - checked in - back to malaysia
highlight of the day: the spa, must be the spa. and oh, the mandi laut session.. and, and, and
downside: having to go back too early if you ask me. sigghhhhh

Bali - Day 4
|
|
breakfast - cari supir - pasar ubud - haggle like crazy people - lunch makanan padang (i ate otak lembu!!) - free and easy around kuta - shopped for necklaces - haggled some more - walked for kms in the rain - ate at pizza hut for dinner (different setting, different menu presentation, marvellous!) - taxi back to camplung
highlight of the day: hmmmmmmmmmm.......
downside: the rain i think, no sunset for us again. guess its not to be..

Bali - Day 3
|
|
breakfast - barong dance here we come! - visited silver making place - more beautiful rice terrace (oh, the horror!! kiddies and women come out from nowhere and begging you to buy the stuff. panicky, tapi kesian gak kat diorang sebenarnye) - kintamani - eh where's the gunung berapi lahhh??? foggy all the way - singgah a souvenir shop on the way to pasar ubud - pasar ubud, finallyyyy!!!! lets shop girls! - flexing our haggling capabilities - singgah denpasar carik rumah kawan ull - ate at the gerai version of indonesia (makan gule kambing and sate ayam!!) - back to relax and sleep and count our hutangs
highlight of the day: the barong dance. ah, must also be the makan at the gerai i guess. as what alynn said, rasa macam gaya movie indo plak!!
downside: the harrassments at pasar ubud

Bali - Day 2
|
|
breakfast - walked along legian beach for awhile - tanah lot (to see the temple by sea side) - drank coconut yummehhh - passed through rice terrace (pacung) - bedugul - took pictures with musang pandan there - bought Rp5000 strawberries - pura taman ayun (special temple only for the rajas to use) - visited batik making place - searched for protected/safe place to watch kecak dance due to heavy downpour - seafood dinner at jimbaran - balik titon
highlight of the day: watching the kecak dance (although the dancers were too careful due to the rain, cant blame them!)
downside: my severe migraine hitting at the wrong time. bleurghh!!!

Bali - Day 1
|
|
Bali, here we come!!! we arrived at night, checked in straight away had dinner and slept. it was great. we loved the place we stayed at, it was beautiful and cosy, and so much more considering the price we paid for it. yippie!! i guess we have to go there again, cause it rained quite a lot, so we missed a couple of essential things to see in bali. heh, i'm making up more excuses everyday..
